How It Works
The membrane covers half of the duct's internal surface, allowing for complete closure of the perforation (or other air distribution method) either on the upper or lower section of the duct. During cooling season, the membrane is positioned to cover the lower perforations – cooled supply air is delivered through the upper openings and, being heavier, gently descends into the occupied zone, ensuring comfortable air distribution. During heating season, the membrane is positioned to cover the upper perforations – warm supply air flows freely downward, providing effective and comfortable heating to the occupied zone.
